AN OFFICIAL of the Department of Trade and Industry has reiterated the warning against buying uncertified and mislabeled Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) tanks.
DTI Provincial Director Rolando Acuña advised the public to check the tank collar for markings.
Acuña said the tank collar and foot ring should be properly welded.
The buying public should ensure that the cylinder valve of the LPG tank they buy is sealed and the brand name is clearly visible.
He advised the consumers to buy only LPGs in authorized outlets. (Bong Garcia)
