THE Our Lady of Consolation Parish- Recoletos in Laray, San Roque, Talisay City, Cebu and the St. Augustine of Hippo Quasi Parish-Recoletos, with the inspiring leadership of Fr. Anthony Morillo, OAR, are now preparing the annual Jesus World, Holy Land in Laray, “a walking tour, a pilgrimage and a reenactment of the historical journey of Jesus on earth!”
In authentic props, costumes and music, the “religious tour” brings you to the Roman Gate with Roman soldiers with a chariot, Court of Herod, Sea of Galilee, live Belen and Mt. Sinai to re-live Moses and the Ten Commandments. The gates open at 7 p.m., and 10 p.m., Nov. 26-27; Dec. 3-4, 10-11, 17-21, 27-29. Entrance fee is P25.
This first-of-its-kind Jesus World will definitely offer a rare religious and cultural experience to tourists and the entire community.

Christmas trees are traditional features of Christmas displayed in houses, hotels, schools and malls.
The Radisson Blu Cebu was one of the first to light its tall, glorious Christmas tree in resplendent colors. It went with a worthy cause sharing slippers or sandals courtesy of Radisson.
The Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort and Spa will have its Christmas cheers on Dec. 10. Cebu City Marriott Hotel had its Christmas tree lighting last Nov. 17, as Marco Polo Plaza Cebu and the other hotels and resorts have also scheduled their yuletide activities. Cebu Normal University hosted the European Higher Educational Summit 2016.
