A FIRE hit a residential area in Sitio Bugnay, Barangay Labangon, Cebu City on Tuesday morning.
Senior Fire Officer 1 Ramon Molina of the Cebu City Fire Department said they received the alarm at 9:44 a.m., June 28, 2016.
Mervelynn Cania, who visited her grandmother in the area, posted photos of the incident on Facebook showing firefighters putting out the blaze.
The fire was put under control at 10:02 a.m., said Molina.
The cause of the fire and the damages couldn't be determined yet as fire team, led by investigator Senior Fire Officer 2 Lowell Opolentisima, is still in the scene as of this posting. (Sunnex)
Correction: Cania was not a resident of the fire-hit Sitio Bugnay, but was only visiting her grandparent when the fire occurred.
