Foressa forest glen and savory Spain

EXPLORE the flavors of Spain and experience distinctive cuisine like never before! Recently, and like they do annually, Cafe Marco at Marco Polo Plaza Cebu presented Sabores de España, headlined by Cebu’s foremost Authority on Hispanic dishes, Gema Luisa Pido. Of course, with her culinary team!

We were welcomed by VIPs at the “Jamon Serrano” section: Marco Polo general manager Brian Connelly, Amigos de España president Amparito Lhuillier, former Honorary Consul of Spain in Cebu Jaime Picornell and the culinary guru herself Gema Pido.

It goes without saying that the rest of the evening was spent gorging on sumptuous tapas, paella, lengua y “mucho mas!”

Viva España!

u2022••

From the city’s choice urban highlands, to a 300-hectare residential community, Aboitizland launched Foressa Mountain Town, in the tranquil mountains of Cansomoroy, Balamban, where the air is vibrant, sustainable and wholesome!

In a community that values nature as its most precious amenity, families can engage in such healthy, outdoor activities like camping, biking, hiking, spelunking, trail riding etc.

Advocating the concepts of new urbanism and low-impact planning, Foressa aims to improve the quality of life through walkable neighborhoods and place making. Incidentally, for those nature lovers and wellness buffs out there, the biking and hiking trails will be ready before the end of the year. Check it out!

Under a canopy of stars, AboitizLand chief executive officer Andoni Aboitiz teases: “Why settle for five-star city living when we can have five million stars in our home?” Touche!
