TWO fugitives from Bukidnon and Batangas were caught on Wednesday, March 28, in a series of manhunt operations in Balamban town, Cebu.
Senior Inspector Deni Mari Pedrozo, the town police chief, identified the suspects as Victor Paran Badenas and Freddie Sabal Cabajar.
At 10:30 a.m., Badenas was arrested in Barangay Gaas by the tracker teams of Balamban and Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon police stations.
Badenas had been in hiding for the past three years in Gaas, a remote village in Balamban.
He is facing a theft case pending before Bukidnon Regional Trial Court Branch 11.
Cabajar, a fugitive from Batangas, was arrested at 4:15 p.m. in Sitio Lamak, Barangay Pondol.
He has pending carnapping, theft and murder cases before Lemery, Batangas Regional Trial Court Branch 5.
The operation was carried by Balamban and San Luis, Batangas police operatives. (KAL/SunStar Cebu)
