Go Hotels Lanang-Davao, a budget hotel, was officially launched last September 15.

With the grand launching of the 183-room hotel, Davao City’s room accommodation reached over 8,000.

The P366-million Go Hotel Lanang-Davao is the 10th and newest branch in the country, second in Mindanao.

Elizabeth Kristine Gregorio, general manager of the Robinsons Hotel and Resorts, earlier said that Davao City has been a promising city as it strengthened its position as the country’s meetings, incentives, conferencing, and exhibitions (Mice) hub.

With the Davao branch, the company's nationwide total room inventory (TRI) reached a total of 1,403.

The hotel chain expects to reach TRI of 1,503 rooms when it opens in Iligan City next year.

“We are optimistic for Mindanao. Iligan is our next stop as we also have our Robinsons Mall there. Our direction is always to construct wherever the malls are, of course, considering the hotel market of the expansion area,” Gregorio said.
