THE Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) has raised the blaze that hit Barangay Pasil, Cebu City, to general alarm, which means all available fire trucks from other districts have to respond.
Firefighters are still trying to put out the blaze, which broke out around 12:30 p.m. Sunday, January 14, in Sitio Riverside, Barangay Pasil.
Several houses have been destroyed as of this posting, as the fire already affected at least three sitios.
Residents have been told to evacuate while authorities are working to help control the fire.
