AN 11-year-old girl died after she accidentally tied her neck with a sash from her sibling’s hammock in a village in Dumanjug.
The incident happened last Friday afternoon, but the parents of the girl reported the incident to the police station late.
Initial investigation showed there was no reason for the girl, who was a Grade 5 pupil, to commit suicide. Her mother was not around when the accident happened.
She went to the town center to get the money that her husband had sent. She said the girl often fooled around their house by tying her neck.(KAL)
