Glee for Gold: Chamber’s anniversary celeb

IN AN effort to provide a venue for creative self-expression, the Mandaue Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) organized the Glee for Gold as part of the celebration of the Mandaue Business Month 2015 and the Chamber’s 50th anniversary this year.

In partnership with the Cebu Provincial Government and Mandaue City Government, MCCI designed this chorale competition to give an opportunity for people of all ages to express themselves through singing and dancing and develop character through teamwork and discipline.

Applications were accepted until last Thursday while the audition will be held tomorrow. Finalists will be announced on Monday. But they won’t be performing until Sept. 12.

Participants will be judged according to originality, mastery and vocal quality, choreography, costume and audience impact.

MCCI will be giving out P50,000 for the champion, P30,000 for the first placer and P20,000 for the second placer. All winners will get a trophy. The non-winning teams will get a consolation prize of P5,000. (PR)
