Government hospital chiefs reshuffled

NEGROS Occidental Governor Alfredo Marañon Jr. said Friday, March 24, he has ordered the reassignment of the chiefs of province-run hospitals as stated in Special Order No. 02-28-12.

Those reassigned effective March 16 are the following: Dr. Ma. Estrella Ledesma from chief of hospital II of Teresita L. Jalandoni Provincial Hospital to chief of hospital of Cadiz District Hospital; Dr. Allan Ramos Jr., from medical officer IV of Governor Valeriano M. Gatuslao Memorial Hospital in Himamaylan to acting chief of hospital; Dr. Leonilo del Carmen, from acting chief of hospital in Escalante City to acting chief of hospital in Sipalay City; Dr. Glucerio Javellana, from chief of hospital in Himamaylan City to chief of hospital in Escalante City; and Dr. Carmelo Arguelles, from chief of hospital in Sipalay City to acting medical specialist at the Provincial Health Office.

Ledesma, Del Carmen, Ramos and Javellana shall report to newly-designated chief of hospital Leonardo Eusebio while Arguelles was directed to report to Provincial Health Office head Dr. Ernell Tumimbang for their respective obligations and functions.

Maranon said that the reassignments was also due to the retirement of some hospital personnel.
