GUAGUA -- Mayor Dante Torres on Tuesday, December 26, said that he hopes to place more institutional developments and projects for the town.
Torres said that his administration is poised on pushing for impact projects for the town. He added that at the core of these are the disaster mitigation and urban development for the town.
Torres added that he is also considering the development of the eco-tourism potentials of Guagua specially the promotion of the Mega Dike area in Betis District as a tourism destination.
The mangrove area is also being considered for development to help in the environmental protection of the town's waterways.
Torres said that the three-time Seal of Good Governance award for the town is an inspiration for them to do better.
