Highest temperature in Baguio this summer recorded

THE Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) recorded last Friday the highest temperature (25° Celsius) in Baguio City for the summer season this year.

Weather observer Eugene Ventura said the heat is due to the easterlies bringing hotter temperatures to the eastern section of the country.

The city will continue to experience hotter temperature, Ventura said, adding that there's a possibility that the temperature will rise.

Pagasa expects the temperature will range from 15 to 25 degree Celsius with the possibility of isolated rain showers in the following days.

The hottest temperature recorded in Baguio City is 30 degree Celsius on April 28, 1991.
