MANILA -- President Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III appointed retired Air Force Major General Jose Angel Aquino Honrado as the new general manager of the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA).
Executive Secretary Jojo Ochoa confirmed the appointment of Honrado in an ambush interview Wednesday.
Honrado was a security consultant of President Aquino during the Presidential campaign.
He was also a former spokesman of the Armed Forces of the Philippines and served as an aide of late President Cory when he was still a lieutenant.
