Jake Ejercito, Sandro Marcos friends amid opposing views

"REAL friendships go beyond politics."

This was the response of Jake Ejercito when his attention was called by one follower after he expressed his disapproval on the Supreme Court's (SC) decision allowing the late President Ferdinand Marcos' burial at Libingan Ng Mga Bayani (LNMB).

The commenter said it was "kinda off" of Ejercito to react when he is friends with Sandro Marcos, the grandson of the late president.

"@chie_g: Everyone is entitled to his/her opinion and I respect that but it's just that seeing you post this while hanging out once in a while with Sandro Marcos in London is kinda off."

The comment came after Ejercito tweeted "Body may be buried, but not the truth" after the SC's decision was reported in the media.

Ejercito, the son of former President and Manila Mayor Erap Estrada, is among the celebrities who took to Twitter to express their objection on the SC ruling.

Meanwhile, Sandro drew flak on social media after he posted peace emoji hours after it was reported that the High Court has allowed his grandfather’s burial at the heroes' cemetery.

Netizens said it was insensitive of the younger Marcos to tweet without thinking of the victims of Martial law.

Other even called him names and said that his grandfather does not deserve to be buried in LNMB.
