James Reid breaks silence, slams concert producer

JAMES Reid defended himself and girlfriend Nadine Lustre after a US concert producer accused them of unprofessionalism.

The actor took to Twitter to slam Elaine Crisostomo of Entablado Production, who claimed that the two behaved rudely toward her and her staff during the San Francisco leg of "Always JaDine: US Tour 2017" held last March 31 at Chabot College in Hayward, California.

Crisostomo also claimed that the love team failed to show up for a supposed meet and greet session with the fans.

As a response, Reid apologized to their supporters who paid a big sum of money for an unapproved event.

The Kapamilya star said he only knew of the supposed meet and greet the day after the incident.

"I'm sorry for the fans who were tricked into paying $250 for a brunch that was not approved. I didn't even know about it until the day after," he wrote.

Reid then said that Crisostomo is not a credible promoter and a liar.

"She still owes our production head (not Nadine @mjfelipe) $27,000," he added.

The actor further explained that they went straight to their hotel room to rest after arriving at wee hours in the morning.

He said Crisostomo never spoke to him until after the concert.

"All the fans involved already know the truth. I hate to explain all this but I'm just annoyed that these lies are still being spread on TV.

In the end, the actor re-posted a video of Crisostomo where she could be heard saying, "Sold out ang show. Magagaling ang mga bata… accommodating."

To which Reid responded, "Make up your mind."

Meanwhile, VIVA Live, the talent management agency of both actors, also accused Crisostomo of inaccurate accusations wrongfully directed toward Reid and Lustre.

VIVA confirmed that the meet and greet was not approved in the final itinerary of their artists.

"Her statements imputing unprofessionalism and rude behavior against the artists and their management for not appearing in this unauthorized activity is clearly unwarranted," the statement reads.
