THE Judicial and Bar Council (JBC) has announced the opening of applications for positions in the Supreme Court (SC) and Sandiganbayan.
Declared open are the posts of SC Associate Justice Jose Mendoza and Sandiganbayan Associate Justice Maria Cristina Cornejo.
Mendoza will reach the mandatory retirement age of 70 on August 13 while Cornejo went on disability retirement last March 1.
The JBC said applications and recommendations must be submitted at the Centennial Building of the Supreme Court in Manila not later than May 23. (SunStar Philippines)
