SUMMER season is definitely not yet over.
Television actress Jessy Mendiola made sure to make a last minute dash to the beach to enjoy the sea, sun and sand.
The ABS-CBN star visited Plantation Bay Resort and Spa in Cebu and later on shared a sexy bikini photo to her 2.4 million followers on Instagram.
As a result of the post, she received tons of positive messages praising her hourglass curves.
But unlike most of her supporters, some netizens still questioned the actress' body, with one follower even went on asking why she looks heavier on television.
"Wow! Bakit parang antaba mo po sa TV screen," a certain @mrsvillarba_08 wrote.
Mendiola immediately explained that it's only normal because things usually appear bigger on TV.
"Kasi lumalaki talaga kami sa TV," she said. "TV makes you gain 10lbs. Yung talaga mas slim in person, kapag nasa tv, sakto lang. Eh ako balakangin kaya kapag nasa TV doble."
The actress also encouraged some of her fans not to mind those bashers who kept on posting hateful tweets.
Mendiola, who topped FHM Philippines' "100 Sexiest Women" list in 2016, failed to be included in the top 10 front-runners this year.
Nadine Lustre is leading the list followed by Angel Locsin, Rhian Ramos, Jennylyn Mercado, Marian Rivera, Anne Curtis, Angelica Panganiban, Toni Gonzaga, Bea Alonzo and Arci Munoz.
