JMC to expand market reach

THE relaunching of J Marketing Corporation (JMC) targets to focus on a wider reach of market which they plan to include condominium and real estate developers.

The name JMC had been a household name for 38 years especially in purchase of house appliances. Last November 9, they relaunched under a new management targeting innovation and transformation for a wider market.

General manager Teresa Angela Salvallon said JMC had been dormant for a quite some time after the arrival of other competitors. Despite it being in the industry for a longer time than the others, it seemed like they have been left behind. She said the leveling up of the market also calls for the innovation of their stores, not just for the products and services they offer but as well as better staff training.

“We are innovating so that we can give better product offerings to the customers and better service. It’s a store relaunch because we need to inform the market that JMC has better-looking stores now and we intend to replicate this one to all of our stores nationwide,” said Salvallon adding Davao Ilustre JMC branch is the first branch they conducted a relaunching ceremony. She added more relaunching ceremonies will follow for the other branches.

With the relaunching, she said they plan to move a little away from the traditional way of selling and come up with more updated needs of the customers especially that Davao City had been gaining attention of different investors now.

When asked what the best-selling items of JMC in Davao City are, she said the entertainment packages are usually a hit that’s why they are put at the forefront of the stores especially their LED TVs.

Appliance brands available in their stores include Samsung, Sharp, Condura, Electrolux, White Washington, Westinghouse, and Fujidenzo among others.
