JOSHUA Garcia pulled out all the stops when he surprised leading lady Julia Barretto.
The Kapamilya actor organized a candlelit dinner for two at the latter's house on Sunday, June 25.
Their good friend Mark Coleta was able to document the special event on his personal Instagram account. He captured Barretto being ushered by Garcia in a table with scattered rose petals and candles.
"Sinong hindi naman kikiligin dito," wrote Coleta.
Garcia could also be seen handing the actress a gift.
The actor's sweet gesture came after he sent a handwritten note to Barretto while she was confined in the hospital a few days ago.
Barretto, who shared the letter on her Instagram, wrote, "You sure do know how to make a sick girl's bad day a good one."
The two first met while doing 2016 Metro Manila Film Festival romantic comedy movie "Vince & Kath & James."
They are currently filming their second film together under Star Cinema and directed by Antonette Jadaone. (SunStar Philippines)
