KC Montero happy for pregnant ex-wife Geneva Cruz

RADIO and television personality KC Montero is happy for ex-wife Geneva Cruz after the latter announced that she is expecting her first child with non-showbiz boyfriend Lee Paulsen.

KC said he learned the news on Geneva's pregnancy and upcoming wedding on the internet. He said she’s keen to have another child for so long now.

"Awesome. I’m so happy for her. I’m happy that she is getting married, I’m happy that she’s having a baby, I know that she wanted to have a baby for a long time, so I’m like ecstatic for her. I hope everything works out. I couldn’t be happier," he said during the "CinemaJam: Movie and Music festival" press conference held Tuesday.

The two were married in Seattle, USA in January 2004 but separated in 2010.

KC believed he's still in good terms with Geneva. He said he is also in constant communication with Heaven, the singer's child with first husband Paco Arespacochaga.

According to the television personality, Heaven is like his real son because he raised him for 10 years.

"Almost half his life I was there. I don’t get to see him much because he lives in the states but he's always there and he still calls me dad," said KC.

When asked if he doesn't get lonely living alone or jealous of older brother Troy for having kids, KC said he still have Heaven.

"I borrow his (Troy's) kid, once in a while so parang I play with Hunter for a couple of hours, okay, tama na. One day maybe, but you know I still have Heaven. He’s a big one, he’s a big boy, but it’s okay," KC said.

He also clarified that he's not yet ready to settle down. He added that girlfriend Rhian Ramos is too young to talk about marriage.

He said if that day comes, he wanted everything to be perfect.

"I want my world to be perfect before I bring someone else into it. So there's still a lot of things that I have to do before, one is financially stable. I just want to be able to take care of the kid the best way I could." (Sunnex)
