ANG Kilusang Magbubukid ng Pilipinas (KMP) mihangop sa pagpadayon sa hinabing pangkalinaw tali National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP) ug Government of the Republic of the Philippines.
“Farmers fully support the continuation of the peace talks. Those who are caught in the middle of the war are the most consistent advocates of a just and lasting peace,” suma ni KMP secretary general Antonio Flores.
Ang lider sa KMP nagsulti nga ang duha ka pundok kinahanglan nga maglantaw sa mga kalapasan sa Comprehensive Agreement on Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law (CARHRIHL).
Ang KMP nagbutyag nga ang pwersa sa estado nilapas sa CARHRIHL ug katungod sa mga sibilyan sa gihimong operasyon sa militar kontra New People's Army.
“Bombings, indiscriminate firing, strafing and cordoning of communities in rural areas are ongoing resulting to rising civilian casualties,” sulti ni Flores.
Gitumbok sa grupo ang nahitabo nga operasyon sa militar nga miresulta sa pagbakwit sa gatusan ka mga tawo sa Mabini, Compostela Valley Province niadtong Sabado.
Giingon sa nga naghimo og air strike ang militar sa dapit mao nga daghan ang namakwit, apan ang militar nagsulti nga lehitimong engkwentro ang nahitabo.
