Lawmaker ends 2016 with inauguration of projects

DISTRICT 1 Representative Celso Lobregat ended the year 2016 with the inauguration of P134.85 million worth of infrastructure projects in nine villages in his area.

Lobregat’s district covers 37 of this city’s 98 villages.

The 16 projects that included roads, drainage systems, flood control, multi-purpose buildings, and bridge were inaugurated on Thursday, December 29, the last working day of 2016.

These included the following: five road projects, P112.287 million; six drainage systems, P14.495 million; one flood control, P2.833 million; three multi-purpose buildings, P3.339 million; and, one bridge, P1.903 million.

The beneficiary-villages are as follows: road projects, Capisan and La Paz; drainage systems, Baliwasan, Campo Islam, Maasin, San Roque, Sta. Maria, and Tumaga; multi-purpose buildings, Campo Islam and Recodo; and, bridge, La Paz.

Lobregat advised the officials as well as the residents of the beneficiary-villages to put to good use the projects given them.

Officials of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) and officials of the beneficiary-villages joined Lobregat in inaugurating the projects one after the other. (Sunnex)
