Lewd foreigner collared in Baguio City

A VIETNAMESE is now facing charges for allegedly taking advantage of a Korean in a lodging house in Baguio City.

In a spot report, the Baguio City Police Office said Korean Moonsun Kim, 39, complained that he was molested by Vietnamese national Louis Vin Luu, 28, early morning of March 7.

Kim, owner of Keunmoon English School located on Tacay Road, alleged that the suspect befriended him at a drinking establishment located on Leonard Wood Road.

He allegedly became drunk and the suspect brought him to a lodge in Pinsao Proper, where he woke to the suspect molesting him.

Police are still conducting follow-up investigation of the case.

Meanwhile, eight were arrested in the Cordillera region following the intensified implementation of special laws.

In Tabuk City, Kalinga, three individuals were arrested and detained for violation of RA 10591 or the comprehensive law on firearms and ammunitions on the evening of March 6.

The suspects were identified as Jeremy Baluga Gayumba, 25, an engineer of Agbannawag; Henry Wandagan Banutan, 30, a resident of Dupag; and Lovimar Cos-agon Sobrera, 22, a resident of Bagumbayan.

The suspects were allegedly on board a single motorcycle and, while passing in front of a police outpost, yelled and sped away. They were eventually caught.

During the search, an unlicensed .22 caliber revolver loaded with seven bullets was found inside the bag of Gayumba.

Four illegal gamblers were caught playing cara y cruz in Purok 4, Bulanao, in Tabuk City.

The suspects were identified as Rogelio Arellano Jr., Marvin Dela Cruz, Jerome Baybayan and Jonathan Agpad.

Police confiscated bet money amounting to P512 in various denominations.

Andres Docyogen of Camalog, Pinukpuk, Kalinga, was arrested at a checkpoint in Sitio Hilltop, Junction, Pinukpuk in the early morning of March 7 after residents tipped police of a pick–up truck loaded with 23 pieces of Narra lumber in different dimensions.

Docyogen was placed under arrest for his failure to present pertinent documents to transport Narra lumber.
