DEFENSE Secretary Delfin Lorenzana maintained Thursday that the military has not monitored any destabilization plot against President Rodrigo Duterte's administration.
In a threat assessment forum held at the National Defense College of the Philippines, Lorenzana stressed that the criticisms being thrown against the President is not considered as an attempt to ouster the him.
"On alleged destabilization, we don't have that information in the Armed Forces. Criticism to the President is not destabilization," he said.
"In the civilian sector, as it appears in papers, maybe they think there is but on our part none," Lorenzana added.
Last month, Communications Secretary Martin Andanar said they have monitored anew a destabilization plot against the President despite Lorenzana and National Security Adviser Hermogenes Esperon's denial. (SunStar Philippines)
