Mabalacat police nab most wanted person

MABALACAT -- The local police has arrested a wanted person accused of attempted homicide.

Senior Police Officer 1 Dennis Dela Cruz, city’s warrant officer, said that Rommel Salunga Gamboa, 34, a laborer, was arrested at his residence at Sitio Damayan, Kadenang Kristal in Barangay Dau here.

Gamboa was tagged as Number 7 Most Wanted Person under the city police Lambat Sibat, Dela Cruz said.

The city police arrested Gamboa by virtue of an arrest warrant issued on August 3, 2017 by Judge Rochelle Santos Manuel of the Mabalacat Circuit Trial Court under criminal case Number 17-260.

Dela Cruz said the court recommended a P12,000 bail for Gamboa who is now detained at the Mabalacat Police Station.

Superintendent Ruel Cagape, city police officer in charge, earlier directed Dela Cruz and other units of the local police to intensify Manhunt Chalie or the operation against individuals with standing warrants of arrest.
