A DRUG surrenderee and his daughter were shot by two unidentified men on a motorcycle at Purok 4, Poblacion in Basay, Negros Oriental on Tuesday.
Police identified the male victim as Florante Alba, 33. The name of his seven-year-old daughter was withheld.
Inspector Louie Batuto, officer-in-charge of Basay Municipal Police Station, said Alba and his daughter were at a videoke bar when the assailants fired at them around 8:30 p.m. and fled towards Hinoba-an town.
Alba sustained a gunshot wound in his stomach while his daughter was hit in her left shoulder. They were brought to a hospital.
Police recovered from the scene two fired cartridges and a slug of .45 caliber pistol. (GYM)
