THE Davao City Prosecutor's Office has recommended the filing of charges against a man who tried to steal electric wires from Western Feedmill Corporation, BMEG Satellite plant.
Prosecutor Myla Lao, in a resolution dated November 23, has recommended the filing of charges against Daniel Villareal for theft.
Based on the resolution, complainant Madonna Faith Sayon Onga, authorized representative of Western Feedmill Corporation, alleged that on November 17, 2016, Villareal, their employee was apprehended by the security guard after he was caught taking four rolled electrical wires belonging to the company.
Villareal was caught as he was about to leave the company that day.
The rolled electrical wires have an estimated value of P2,500.
Prosecutor Lao, in the resolution, said that Villareal was caught on the act of taking the items, and in in view of the statement of the guard saying that Villareal is the person who looks after the items, there is an unavoidable conclusion that there is a probable cause to indict the respondent for the case.
