A 41-YEAR-OLD man was arrested for indiscriminate firing around 4:15 p.m., Tuesday, May 16, in Cogon Cruz, Barangay Ilaya, Danao City, Cebu.
The suspect was identified as Russel Abarquez, 41, who was caught by his neighbor Police Officer 1 Jonathan Hermosilla.
The police officer seized a .22 black widow with three bullets and two empty shells in its cylinder.
Abarquez will face complaints for violating Republic Act 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act, which punishes a person carrying unlicensed firearms. (SunStar Cebu)
