Mandaue will no longer issue temporary business permit

THE Mandaue City Treasurer’s Office will no longer issue a provisional business permit during the renewal of business permits.

City Mayor Gabriel Luis Quisumbing issued Executive Order 42 to strictly follow the policy guidelines provided by the Department of Interior and Local Government in terms of the issuance and or renewal of business permits last December 20.

The City Government scheduled the renewal and issuance of business permits on January 3 to 20 through a one-stop shop at J Centre Mall.

Vice Mayor Carlo Fortuna said they can issue a provisional business permit if the business management only lacks clearances from SSS, Philhealth and Pagibig.

A provisional business permit is issued by the CTO when a company or a business is still in the process of securing all the requirements for a permanent business permit.

This type of permit is effective for three months. (FMG/SunStar Cebu)
