THE 38th edition of Halad Kang Mano Amon Run is all set this Sunday at the Plaza Mano Amon in Danao City, northern Cebu.
The annual running event, which is organized by Danao City Sports Commission, is open to all and the registration is for free.
The organizers are expecting to attract more than 600 runners on race day.
The race will feature the three-kilometer, 6K and 12K categories.
The 12K will have the men’s and women’s open division; men’s and women’s 3K and 6K for the residents of Danao City; and men’s and women’s 3K for the elementary, high school and college students.
A total of P34,000 in cash prizes are at stake.
The winners will also receive medals, while the first 400 finishers will each get a singlet.
JP Pasaol of Danao City Sports Commission said that the event has more than 200 registrants as of yesterday. The registration will be until Friday.
