MARCO Polo Davao caps 2017 with a thanksgiving party to honor the men and women of the hotel who stood the test of a challenging year.
The annual thanksgiving party also served as the hotels 19th anniversary celebration which was themed Super Heroes of Marco Polo Davao.
Marco Polo Davao general manager Dottie Wurgler-Cronin together with the hotel’s heads of department welcomed the associates in their hero-inspired outfit. The event was also graced by Halifax Davao Hotel Inc. Board of Directors headed by its chairman, Mr. Bienvenido Tan III and president Francis Ledesma.
The party honored milestones of the hotel and paid tribute to its Service Awardees. Shortly after, the employees’ super powers and talents were showcased in a dance competition where sales and marketing department together with the culinary team emerged as champion.
Housekeeping and the technical departments garnered first runner-up honors while Finance with the front office team followed by RB&E Service, human resource, executive office and security won second runner-up and third runner-up respectively.
Special awards were also given to the best hero costume for the male and female category. (ASP)
