Meat, veggies prices stable, seafood products up in Bankerohan market

PRICES of some common market commodities such as chicken, meat, and vegetables remained constant while the price of seafood products continues to rise according to the recent price monitoring conducted at the Bankerohan Public Market Wednesday afternoon, September 28.

The price per kilo of chicken products ranged from P130 to P140 while price of meat products are from P165 to P180.

The prices of some vegetables, also remained stable. The price per kilo of carrots is P60, same with potatoes P85, eggplants P40, tomatoes P50, spinach P25, cabbage P40 as well as onion with the price remaining constant at P110, ginger P120, bell pepper P100, and broccoli P80.

However, the price of garlic decreased from P160 to P140, as well as the prices of ampalaya, raddish, and cucumber from P55 to P45.

Commonly bought fish products such as matambaka increased from P150 to P155 per kilo, danggit from P200 to P210, but lapu-lapu posted a decline from P300 to P260.

Meanwhile, the price per kilo of squid also decreased from P250 to P200.

Prices of other fish products such as bangus, tuna, tulingan, and malasugi, however, remained stable.
