MEXICO, Pampanga -- Senior Police Officer Robert Reynoso clarified Wednesday that Mexico town has been considered a possible crime hotspot because it is a Class A municipality.
Reynoso’s statement came after the Police Regional Office III said Mexico town is one of the possible crime “hotspots” in the province.
"Kaakibat ng paglago ng ekonomiya yung pagdami ng krimen. Wala naman magnanakaw kung wala silang nanakawan di ba?" he said.
Reynoso however said police here will intensify their operations to lessen the crime rate and improve their efficiency rate.
He said police will continue to focus on conducting anti-illegal drug operations and implement the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
