New Nissan showroom highlights after-sales service

AS NISSAN Gateway officially opened its doors to their clients in the north on Sunday, October 8, they promise to provide Alagang Nissan services wherein clients can ask for emergency help with their car whenever and wherever they are.

Nissan Gateway opened their showroom in Tagum City on Friday, October 6.

After-sales service is one of the specialty features of the new Nissan Tagum showroom that they are especially proud of, an executive of Nissan said.

“That’s one of the most important things. The after-sales service support is absolutely critical for us to make sure that the customers are happy. It’s not just about coming and buying a car. It’s actually enjoying the experience of owning the car during its lifetime. We’re making sure we have enough capacity for the higher volume than what we anticipate,” said Nissan Philippines, Inc. president and managing director Ramesh Narasimhan.

In a separate interview with Nissan Tagum showroom sales manager Artemio Montuerto, upon purchase of the car, clients are asked to fill up the necessary forms needed for membership registration to the Alagang Nissan program.

Members are then entitled to services exclusive to them which includes 24-hour availability of emergency roadside assistance, towing assistance, directory assistance, and minor on-site repair among others whenever and wherever the client is.

Once the client had been registered, the Nissan Gateway assures that they are provided of the emergency services they would need.

“If their car had been malfunctioned, wherever they are, there’s an app that they can use to call for help. They can indicate what kind of help they would need. That’s available 24 hours as long as they had been registered to the Alagang Nissan program. That is mandatory, once they availed of the program, we register them immediately for future-needed assistance,” said Montuerto.

The membership registration is free of charge for the entire first year upon availing and would require payment for membership renewal only after a year has lapsed.

The Alagang Nissan card also entitles the holder with a guaranteed no labor charge on change oil services, free service inspection, and an assurance that the installed spare parts and engine oil are 100 percent from Nissan.

“We perform quick services. Once the client has left, we see to it that they are assured that Nissan really is okay. We are also into the after-sales services that we provide because for us, it’s not just about selling the cars. We have preventive maintenance,” he said.

Montuerto added that spare parts and car accessories are already available in their showroom from which the client can choose from according to their needs.
