OGIE Alcasid will soon be part of the Kapamilya Network.
During the recent trade launch of ABS-CBN, the network has announced that the singer/songwriter will join the judges table in "Your Face Sounds Familiar Celebrity Kids Edition."
He will replace singer Jed Madela and will join Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano and Megastar Sharon Cuneta.
The show will feature contestants, namely Lyca Gairanod, Elha Nympha, Sam Shoaf, Justin Alva, Xia Vigor, Alonzo Muhlach and "Ang Probinsyano" child star Awra Briguela.
Billy Crawford will return as host on its third edition which is slated for a 2017 release.
Meanwhile, before taking on the role, Alcasid will reunite with good friend and colleague Michael V. in the 21st anniversary episode of GMA-7 hit gag show "Bubble Gang” airing Friday, November 25.
Alcasid was one of the original casts of the show before he moved to TV5 in 2013.
His contract with the Kapatid station expired August of this year. (Sunnex)
