AUTHORITIES seized P70,000 worth of "shabu" (methamphetamine hydrochloride) and contraband during the operation greyhound in the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center (CPDRC) ono Thursday morning.
Cebu Provincial Police Office (CPPO) operatives confiscated two medium packs of suspected shabu found in two cells in the male dormitory.
Superintendent Mario Baquiran, the CPPO-Provincial Public Safety Company chief, said the drug paraphernalia, bladed weapons, and cash were also recovered.
The inventory of seized contraband is still ongoing in CPDRC. (KAL/SunStar Cebu)
