FILIPINO boxing champ and Sarangani Representative Manny Pacquiao on Friday posted a photo on Facebook, showing him and his wife, Jinkee, praying together with Filipina convicted drug trafficker Mary Jane Veloso in a prison in Indonesia.
In his post, Pacquiao urged people to "Please keep her (Veloso) in your prayers."
The Pacquiaos left for Indonesia on Tuesday, July 7, to visit Veloso in prison.
Veloso was scheduled for execution on April 29, but was granted a last-minute reprieve by the Indonesian government.
Few days before his megafight against Floyd Mayweather Jr., Pacquiao made an appeal to Indonesian President Joko Widodo to spare Veloso from execution. (Daryl D. Anunciado/Sunnex)
