MEXICO, Pampanga -- At least five towns in Pampanga will be experiencing an 11-hour power interruption on Thursday, December 14.
National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) Communications Officer Ernest Vidal said that the towns served by the Pampanga III Electric Cooperative namely Apalit, Macabebe, Masantol, San Simon, Minalin and Sto. Tomas will have power outage from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday.
“The reason is corrective works inside Mexico Substation and along Mexico-Calumpit 69kV line will be conducted during the said hours,” Vidal said.
Residents of the affected towns are advised to conduct preparatory measures in anticipation of the said day-long power interruption, he added.
