Partylist to provide medical aid in Benguet

ATING Aagapay Sentrong Samahan ng mga Obrero, Inc. (Aasenso) reported that P900,000 has been reserved for residents in Benguet to aid in the medical needs of poor residents.

Aasenso national chairman Isagani Nerez said the fund is from the P36 million in projects for Northern Luzon.

In Benguet, Aasenso partylist also allotted P150,000 for Benguet General Hospital and a another P150,000 for Abatan Emergency Hospital in Buguias, Benguet.

Nerez said they will provide assistance on education programs for the construction of an alternative learning center in the city and an education center for the Muslims in Baguio.

This year, aside from medical aid, the multi-purpose building in Barangay Camdas and Barangay Palma worth P2 million each are under construction.

Another P2 million for Barangay Tinongdan in Itogon, Benguet and P3 million for the flood control projects in different parts of Benguet province has been allotted.

In 2016, they have provided medical assistance worth P300,000 as medical assistance for Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC).

For the first quarter of 2017, they have also provided P300,000 for the indigent patients of BGHMC.

Patients may avail this assistance by submitting medical abstracts and certificate of indigents to Sammy Bumangil, focal person of Aasenso Partylist through 0917-999-8150.
