In Day 2, the Filipinos came out with flourish, a 53-29 victory against Thailand A and later demolished Vietnam, 50-14.

The Philippine team fell to eventual champions Singapore, 47-39 while taking down Malaysia in their final game, 51-39.

Suiting up for playing-coach Jamelo in the men’s team are Bacolod-based Benjie Oray, Herbert Aujero, Josiah Su and Judel Roy Lacson, and Manila-hailed Josiah Inigo Yucoco, Marvin Llianza, Mark Narborita, Jesson Dave Paja, and Lee Tomas.

The Corinth Chua-led women’s team dominated Malaysia in the opener, 39-26 before dumping Thailand B, 48-13.
