PhilHealth-CAR moves to new location

THE Cordillera office of the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PHIC), more popularly known as PhilHealth, has moved to a new office at SN Oriental Traders Building, No. 19 Leonard Wood Road, Baguio City.

The Baguio City local health insurance office at Bonifacio Street has also transferred and is now with the PhilHealth regional office in the same new office located just across Teacher’s Camp.

In a statement, PhilHealth - CAR Regional Vice President Jerry Ibay said the transfer to a new office aims to facilitate and enhance the services being provided to their growing memberships in the Cordillera region covering the provinces of Apayao, Abra, Benguet, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Kalinga and City of Baguio.

The new Philhealth Regional Office is more accessible, as it can be reached by riding public utility jeepneys plying to route to Maria Basa, Navy Base, Teacher’s Camp, Pacdal, Mines View, Tuding or Ucab.

Since April 15, all Philhealth transactions such as membership application and other membership-related concern, health insurance benefit availment, membership premium payments, and other Philhealth frontline services are now being processed in the new office.
