PICE-ACC conducts relief operation for habagat victims

PHILIPPINE Institute of Civil Engineers Angeles City Chapter (PICE-ACC) once again extended its helping hand to the kabalens during the chapter’s relief operation held last August 27.

PICE-ACC president Engr. Carlito Cayanan spearheaded the said initiative wherein hundreds of disaster victims from Barangay Del Pilar, City of San Fernando, Pampanga were given food packs and essential needs.

It can be noted that the recent habagat which lasted for less than two weeks flooded most of the province’s towns and cities.

Cayanan said that "We, at PICE-ACC, are determined to lessen our kabalens' hardship caused by the disaster. We can see that this simple act has given them smile and increased their hope as well as perk up their faith and disposition.”

Cayanan added that the chapter will continue its relief operations to help other affected towns in the province. He noted that the chapter is also accepting cash or in kind donations. (Engr. Erwin Castro Quiambao/Contributor)
