PRI chief to discuss PH-China cooperation

MEXICO, Pampanga –- Philippine Retirement Industry (PRI) Regional Chairman Albert Dela Cruz is off to China courtesy of China Development Bank to participate in the paper discussion of the "China-Philippines Cooperation" on September 13 to 20.

Dela Cruz, a Kapampangan licensed real estate broker and Chairman and CEO of North Gate Land Philippines Inc. will talk about "The Future and Prospective of the China-Philippines Cooperation: Silk Road Yesterday, Belt And Road Today, Twin Dragon Tomorrow," in forums at Beijing and Guangdong.

"With 22 cooperation agreements and still counting, more than $10 billion worth of grants and soft loans and hundreds of private Chinese investments in the Philippines, President Rodrigo Duterte's pivot to China is a stroke of genius as supported by the brilliant Department of Foreign Affairs Secretary Alan Peter Cayetano. Their partnership is beyond compare in the modern era of Philippine politics and the world stage. God bless the Philippines," Dela Cruz said.

The former vice-mayor of this town said that his talk on the discussion paper will specifically focus on real estate Philippine retirement business and tourism development, as PRI is recognized by the Department of Tourism.

In May of this year, Dela Cruz also represented PRI in South Korea for the Japan-Korea Business Cooperation at Kyungwoon University. (Chris Navarro)
