PRICES for commercial rice and corn grits remained the same with their last month’s prices based on the monitoring conducted by the National Food Authority-Davao Region.
According to a data provided by the agency, current prices for rice and corn in the region remain constant and have not decreased nor increased compared to its prices last July.
Prices for regular milled rice are ranges from P32 to P38 per kilogram (kg).
Well-milled rice ranges from P39/kg to P41/kg while prices for premium rice plays between P42/kg to P46/kg.
White corn grits are being sold in the market for P27/kg to P33/kg while yellow corn grits are available between P21/kg to P22/kg.
Farm prices of palay and yellow corn grits also remained the same with average prices of P20.86/kg and P10.75/kg, respectively .
White corn grits’ farm price slightly increased to P13/kg from its P12.75 per kilo price last week.
