PRICES of pork and beef at Bankerohan Public Market have increased based on the price monitoring conducted by SunStar Davao, Thursday, October 5.
From P165 per kilogram (kg), pork is now sold at P185/kg while pata is now sold at P165/kg from P140/kg. Other stalls in the market also sell it at the same price.
Prices of beef have also increased, beef ribs are now at P200/kg from P190/kg while beef is sold at P270/kg.
However, the price of eggs and chicken remain stable this month. Fresh eggs range from P4.50 per piece to P6.50/pc; P60 to P78 per dozen; and P150 per tray.
The price of chicken varies depending on the parts. Regular thigh is P120/kg; wings and breast is sold at P128/kg; drumstick is P135/kg and the whole chicken is P128/kg. (Eliza Patrice Huilar and Alexandrea Ignacio, AdDU Interns)
