AN INMATE from Pag-asa Compound of the Bureau of Jail and Management and Penology (BJMP) in Ma-a, Davao city was charged with frustrated murder before the City Prosecutor’s Office last Tuesday, August 30, after allegedly stabbing his fellow prisoner.
Charged for frustrated murder was Benigno Jade Suico III, after allegedly stabbing another inmate, identified as Lestere Gildore Rubo who sustained multiple wounds in different parts of his body and was rushed to the Southern Philippines Medical Center.
The stabbing incident happened around 12:30 p.m., August 27.
The police recovered from Rubo’s possession was one improvised knife with bloodstains, which was submitted for blood examination at Philippine National Police Crime Lab.
The case is now being resolved by Prosecutor Rizalyn Gonzales.
