PROFESSIONAL race car driver Marlon Stockinger has two kids.
This was revealed by his former girlfriend and the mother of the twins, model and fitness enthusiast Kit Barraquias.
In an exclusive interview with Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP.ph) published Friday, March 31, Barraquias disclosed that she had a one-year relationship with Stockinger when he was only 18 years old while she was already 27.
"Yes, he is the dad. We had twins. He's the biological dad. I don't wanna say he's the dad... just the biological dad," she said.
Barraquias added that Stockinger even brought her to Zurich, Switzerland, his home base, to introduce her to his grandparent.
But things went down south and they separated when she was already four months pregnant.
Stockinger, the model added, tried but failed to meet their seven year old daughters and there's no communication between them.
There was also no financial support.
She also disclosed that his mother came to her house a couple of times and handed her an undisclosed amount of money for the kids, but that was it.
"I don't wanna say the amount that she gave 'coz it's kinda embarrassing. And then, there's really no monthly (allowance)."
Barraquias clarified that there's no truth to reports that she receives a monthly allowance of P10,000 to support her daughters.
She said that she never asked for money.
"Why would I ask? I'm working. I worked abroad for five years. I came back here and still working," she added.
"The mom hasn't paid me money to keep quiet or whatever it is that's coming out. I have no bad blood with them. It's just like two strangers meeting outside. That's it," she said.
Barraquias explained that she's not speaking now to ruin Stockinger's career, but to tell the truth about the situation and clear her name.
She said she's over this issue and the PEP interview will be her first and last time to speak on the matter.
But if Stockinger denies her statement, the model said she'll allow her children to undergo DNA testing to prove that she's telling the truth.
"I just want this to be done and to stop speculations, making me look like (I'm asking for money)."
In the end, Barraquias said she never regretted having her two daughters.
She said being a mom is the best thing that ever happened to her.
Reports of Stockinger fathering twins surfaced early this month.
His girlfriend, 2015 Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach, was cornered by the entertainment press at her recent endorsement launch and was sought for comments.
A surprised Wurtzbach replied, "I have actually never… Are you sure it's the same Marlon? There's a lot of Marlon… I don't know anything about that."
The former beauty queen even reminded the media to be careful and double check the facts before believing any story.
"People have to be careful with what they say also because if it does turn out not to be true, then the credibility of the media would be… I guess we just have to check the facts first, but I really don’t know," she said.
