ANG pelikula nga Saving Sally nga usa ka romantic story set sa 2D animation ang usa sa eight entries sa Metro Manila Film Festival nga ipagawas sa Disyembre 25.
Ang Cinema Evaluation Board nihatag og A rating sa directorial debut ni Avid Liongoren hinungdan malipayon ang tanan sa Saving Sally team lakip ang bida nga si Rhian Ramos.
“The first and the only show that I had ever auditioned for was Captain Barbell and parang they just made me read lines. And so a few years later, this was four years na, I ever had to do another audition again.
“This one, may dalawa o tatlo silang mga eksena na gustong ipa-try sa akin. So yon, binasa ko, mine-morize ko, and then the final pagsubok, parang binigyan lang kaming situation.
“It was just completely adlib, ‘eto yung situation, kayo na bahala.’ So parang for that, it put to the test kung ano yung posibleng magiging chemistry namin ni Enzo (Marcos),” saysay ni Rhian kung nganong nakuha ang part ni Sally.
Apan wala niya gidahom nga mobida niini.
“Well, without mentioning any name, a lot of girls from mainstream showbiz had already auditioned for the part and they were my friends and I heard about it and they told me about this movie also.
“Wala naman akong masyadong expectations kasi kung hindi nga nila nakuha, bakit ko makukuha, di ba? So, ibig sabihin, may iba silang hinahanap. O baka nagte-teleserye acting kami or something, hindi ko alam, di ba?” butyag niini.
“So, ayun, it was a real surprise to me naman talaga na makuha ko yung part and I was very happy and lucky to do it coz we had so much fun doing the whole film,” dugang niini.
