Rifle grenades found in Pangasinan town cornfield

STA. MARIA, Pangasinan -- The police here are puzzled over the discovery of six pieces of rifle grenade and one piece of M25A2 riot control grenade in a cornfield in Barangay Namagbagan, Sta. Maria, around 8:30 a.m. of February 7.

The explosives were discovered by a concerned citizen who reported these to Namagbagan barangay chairman Conrado Macaraeg, who subsequently turned the grenades over to the Sta. Maria Police Station.
