Rihanna cancels concert due to Zika

A WHOLE music festival was canceled after Rihanna pulled out because of the Zika virus, which has hit some Latin countries, Us Weekly magazine reported.

The hitmaker was supposed to headline Lollapalooza Colombia this September in Bogota, Colombia. The organizers reportedly cannot find a suitable replacement in just over two months.

“The organizers wish to express their deep appreciation to all the fans who supported the festival since day one, as well as the sponsors and the media partners,” a statement from the official Lollapalooza Colombia website read in Spanish.

Other musicians scheduled to present in the festival were Lana Del Ray, Disclosure, Wiz Khalifa and The Chainsmokers.

Lollapalooza started as a festival in Chicago that ended up being staged in Latin countries as well. It would have been the first time for Colombia to host the music festival.

Colombia has among the highest cases of Zika virus reported, just second to Brazil.

Meanwhile, rumors continue to swirl that the This Is What You Came For singer and her frequent collaborator Drake are personally making sweet music together.

Sources claimed they have spent a lot of time together while in London and were photographed several mornings going out of a nightclub. One morning, Drake was photographed leaving RiRi’s hotel.

Their recent music collaboration include the songs Too Good and Work. Do these songs mean anything to them? Are they “on” again?

One Twitter user caught a sweet moment between the two exes while in a concert in Manchester. After performing Work, Drake declared: “The most beautiful, talented woman I’ve ever seen in my life. She goes by the name of Rihanna… I’m getting my heart broken over here.” with Razzel Ygoña, Cebu Institute of Technology – University
